FITOR lab scale slurry bubble column

The FITOR at ECN is a bench-scale slurry bubble column reactor designed for research on Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. The reactor is also suitable for carrying out other slurry catalytic synthesis processes.  During synthesis the gas is bubbled through a slurry in which the fine catalyst particles are dispersed.  Mixtures of H2, CO and N2 can be fed to the reactor as well as gas produced by biomass gasification.
