Fast pyrolysis Process Development Unit
The PDU fast pyrolysis unit of VTT has been used since 1996 for production of fast pyrolysis liquids from different biomasses. The R&D has involved production, end use testing, physical and chemical characterization of pyrolysis liquids as well as storability studies of pyrolysis liquids produced.
